.txt will be presented at Mostra SESC de Artes 2010.
20th November at 9 pm and 21st November at 6 pm, in SESC Vila Mariana, São Paulo, Brazil.

SESC’s action is a fruition of a solid cultural and educational project which brought, since its creation by the enterprise of commerce and services, 60 year ago, the mark of the innovation and social transformation.
Thus, SESC develops an informal and permanent education action with the purpose of increase people’s value and encourage personal autonomy, interaction and contact with different ways of thinking, expressing,
acting and feeling.

(PRIZE)

.txt won the Multimedia National Prize 2010, in the Art and Culture category.
The 5th publication of the prize was announced by the Association for the Promotion of Multimedia and Digital Society (APMP).

” The Multimedia National Prize, organized by the AMPM, has as objective to recognize the value of the multimedia national production and award a prize to the talent, the daring, the creativity and the business perspective of the professionals of this sector (…) “ APMP

Fernando Nabais went on stage representing the team and, in between the acknowledgments, underlined the relevance and international receptivity of the .txt. Proof of that, it is the mention of the creation in some international blogs, for instance in that of Bruce Sterling, one of the most important authors of scientific fiction.

In creative process since 2007, .txt was presented for the first time in 2009 at the Museu do Oriente, in Lisbon.
During the period of creation were done creative residences at Aveirense Theater, Restart and Lugar Comum.
In 2007 It was presented in a work in progress format at the opening of the Monstra Festival in Maria Matos Theater, as well as in the International Conference TeDance at Culturgest and, in 2008, in the Interpala Festival – Art and Vision, of Madrid.

.txt was invited by ARE2010 to present the interactive digital performance at ARE Art Gala in June 2, 2010. This event will happen at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California, USA.

Augmented Reality Event (ARE) is the first global event dedicated to advancing the business of augmented reality.
